Making a Will

It is important to make a Will to provide for the distribution of your estate upon your death.  If you do not do so, your estate after payment of any debts will be distributed according to the Intestacy Rules and your beneficiaries, friends and family will not be able to contest this.  Distribution under the Intestacy Rules may cause hardship or be unfair.  

Injunctions

Unfortunately you may need help to deal with abusive behaviour of a partner whether verbal, emotional or physical.  We can help you to obtain an order of the court which regulates your partner's behaviour.

Change of Name

Although you can use any name you chose informally, you will need to properly record the change of a Christian or surname if you wish to use your new name on your bank account, passport etc.  We can draft a Change of  Name Deed and provide you with certified copies for you to record your new name with the relevant authorities.
